FUENF

Starting point was a small experiment with ceramic paper, a really nice material. Actually it is a thin plate of ceramics, which, when it comes in contact with water, gets flexible and is treatable like paper. Our output were these instant coffee filters which recall the classic shape of those objects. Within the process of creating and shaping the ceramics we figured out how far we can carry the things and folded some small paperships.

During the process we developed as well a tee-buoy – as far we were dealing with table culture. The name »fuenf« recalls the usual time for coffee and tea.

The whole project was a fruitful collaboration with my friend Bettina.
